I am going to run a club event to keep everyone busy during lockdown and help improve their Taekwondo skills.
Students should perform their highest pattern (or their previous one) and film it then send me the video.
I will group all entries into belt and age categories and judge them and award medals to the top 3 in each division.
This competition is free to enter but is only open to members currently paying training fees.
I will announce the winners and present certificates and medals when back at class in December.
Deadline
All entries musty be sent by the end of November..
Filming your pattern
Students must:
- wear a dobok
- bow and say their name and name of pattern.
- stay in frame at all times
- bow afterwards
Patterns will be marked on the same criteria as normal:
- Presentation
- Power
- Stances
- Technique
- Focus
- …and so on
Don’t forget, you can watch your pattern video in the member’s Patterns page.
Best way to send your video to me is via WhatsApp or email.
Parents/guardians please send videos on behalf of juniors.
